Along's Big Day

As planned, we went jamming in GreenBox BukitTinggi. But somehow, we were late and pretty rushing, even I received calls from GreenBox saying they gonna cancel the room that I've booked if no one showing up in time. Anyhow, still need to trouble the birthday boy-TuckLong come to fetch me. And yes, LiPeng has returned and due some mis-communication, he missed out the ride. Such big suprise! Luckily, Eugene gonna release another car. So the mission to get LiPeng has been passed to Eugene and me. TuckLong flunged me out from his WhiteMyvi to Eugene's BlackMyvi and they head straight to GreenBox as we all already late, meanwhile we went to get LiPeng. He even offered us a bottle of wine to cover his sin.

About half an hour later, we've finally reached GreenBox and everyone already there. Main character of the day would be TuckLong and followed by all the participants BoonKiat, WengSheng, Jason, ChonSern, Jeffre, BennKitt, WaiChung, Eugene, LiPeng, & me.

Already start fooling with my FE-320 from the beginning.

No more songs to play but we still sing the birthday song to the birthday boy without music! Sadly no birthday cake appeared, anyhow he already ate it by midnight... =)

After the karaoke session, we went floating around Aeon BukitTinggi, and catch out lunch at McDonald. BoonKiat, WengSheng, & ChonSern went back first after the lunch and we went for Project-D at a cyber cafe named VitalNet. It's been weeks ever since the last time we visit a cyber cafe. As the night fall, TuckLong need to catch a dinner with his family and WaiChung need to go back as well. TuckLong's act made me reallised birthday ain't just meant to enjoy yourself with friends only, spend some times with your family in that very day is very important too because without your parents, that day means nothing to you. =)

So left 5 of us to hunt for dinner. We went turning about in the whole BukitTinggi area and end up we still stop by a restaurant beside our previous military base-Microsoft to dine.

After dinner, we sent Jeffre and Benn Kitt back and regroup with the birthday boy who already waiting for us for quite a time. At first we were meant to have a night tea session but we seriously got no idea where to go. End up having round 2 of Project-D at TwoNet. But we do cool ourselves down first at SouthernCurryHouse. A 3 on 3 match after that.

By around 11pm, Jason's mom has started to hunt him. So went all sets home and prepare for round 3! Overall, we had a great time that day. A precious gathering that can be done as we all has started busy with our own life now. Lastly, happy birthday to...

Look What I've Got

First, I've received the confirmation letter from UTAR. Announcing the day for registration, what to bring, and the schedule for the whole orientation week. Not forgetting asking me to pay the amount of RM5219.00. But as for my finance problem occured, I'm not going to attend it anyway and yes, I've gave up on UTAR. I've paid RM60.00 for all these forms...

Second, I've been receiving calls from Yayasan Pendidikan Cheras saying that they gonna provide me scholarship to pursue my study there. So I've finally decided to pay them a visit all the way to Taman Maluri Cheras. I've bought a through and flow Rapid KL bus ticket from Klang to KL Sentral which cost me RM5.00 and another city only ticket to reach Taman Maluri. I had my inquiry at YPC from a lady named Shirley who happens to call me 3-4 times all the while encouraging me to be there for further details. They offered me an 18'000.00 scholarship and an easier way to get PTPTN comparing to *ehem*. It's obviously a very easy to start studying again from what they offered. Even hostel was provided, unlike *ehem*. After finish my inquiring, I head back to KL sentral with the B112 bus which I've used to get to Cheras. But I happened to eat dust(my lunch) while waiting for the E4 bus at KL Sentral bus station. Overall, I've just spent RM8.00 for this whole day at KL. RM5.00 for Express ticket from Klang to KL, RM2.00 for the City only ticket and I've donate RM1.00 to a bagger at the bus stop of Taman Maluri, noble me... Anyhow, this is not a fun trip as I eat nothing but dust whole day. This is what I've got from YPC.

Lastly, a souvenir from my supervisor who just came back from her trip to HuangShan, China...

What's in my mind now? I was thinking whether should I take up the course offered by YPC? Or should I wait for applying IPTA again? Any idea?

Office Alone For A Week

As my supervisor taking leave for a week to enjoy her trip to China, I have to take up the responsibility managing all the work all by myself. At first, I thought it wouldn't be a big deal for me since I've somehow mastered the basic things that need to be done weekly except the report preparing part. Start from Friday, the days has became unexpectedly busier than usual during the mid of month. I even thought that I can spend my time at office watching DeathNote(I've even brought the DVD to my office). But I seriously no time for that. I still have to continue my work even during my lunch hour. 1 of us missing would make such difference?
When it comes to the report writing part, I thought it should be no problem for using Microsoft Excel. Everybody using that... But no, it takes time for me to understand the formula for the AutoSum function. This has somehow given me a test on how to handle things all by myself, a very good one. Think that I've learnt enough? There's still more to learn...
Alright, that's all for now. Got translation to do again... =)

Lunch Break with Edward #2

I get free lunch today. I received a call from EdwardChin the birthday boy saying that he cooked lunch and the amount was a bit over, asking me would I like to join along. A free lunch, why not? For your information, his house was a few steps away from my working place, convenient enough. His parents went to Brunei for a week and a familiar word crossed my mind... PR!! But not so lucky, the birthday boy's sister not at home, haha~
Never really thought that Edward can cook. Not just any ordinary fried eggs was served, even pork and fish were served. Edward has been taking care the house with the absent of his parents. And he told me that he already stop UTAR and started looking for job. Still, he will continue his study later. Was kinda shocked when I heard this, now I have bad impression about UTAR. We crapped the whole lunch hour and I get back to work.
Now I was thinking, since Edward can wait for his opportunity to come again, why not me? My mind has cleared. Endure first, take IPTA again next year, I can wait for another half year. No problem =)

My Back

Have you been to any medical check up before? Not for me as I don't think it's necessary for now. But yesterday after work and on the way walking to the nearby bus stop, each step like giving me a pain on the middle part of my back. I was thinking "What is happening?" Come and think about it, probably I might have strained my body too much by that day during working hour. What I've been doing whole day causing this pain? Imagine moving 20 cotton of stock containing the weight about 300gm x 48(14.4kg) and 24 cotton with the weight 1000ml x 12(12litre is about 12kg) the whole morning. By the time moving all these boxes I've already started to feel the pain. But in order to work efficiently, I didn't care much that time as long as I finish up my job as soon as possible. After finish moving the stocks, I have ache all over my body. After a slight rest, felt better and continue my work. Until after work, walking a distance about from EngAnn to HighSchoolKlang, each step causing pain to my back. Am I getting old?

Think again, would this 1 day of heavy work could causing such high damage to me? Or probably the damage are accumulated up from all the while as I have to do the same thing every week? Or maybe I've been sitting, moving, or standing using the wrong stance and posture? For an example, the time I key-in the cash bills using the computer I'm sitting with a lazy posture. While moving the stocks, I might have used the wrong posture as well in picking up the box. According to an experienced 1, we must kneel the whole leg down while picking up something. I did try to correct my posture anyway, just maybe sometimes rushing and didn't care much. Public bus are usually crowded during off-work hours, so I have to stand in the bus. Of course, I might standing with a wrong posture as well being tired after work. With the seduction of [G]Garena back at home then, I can't help to have a few round with my friends. A few round would have consumed 2-3 hours and during that time, I'm sitting on the bed and got nothing to lie my back on and causing me possing like TheDeathBringer-Venomancer! I'll do stretching after every round. XD

So from now on, I'll try my best to correct the posture in no matter what I'm doing. Sure hope the damage caused to my back wouldn't get any worse. Are you using the correct posture sitting in front of the computer now?
