While browsing the messy documents in my PC, I found this.
A short one paragraph essay I suppose requested by the one who inspired me to start blogging.
Eddy & me
I still remember the first time I met this guy-Eddy was during Convent I.U.Day ’05. We went there as the representatives for Interact Club of HSK but we were placed in different tables as they were the new Board of Directors meanwhile I was with the members table. But I can say he’s the first person from the BOD came to interact with the members by simply tuck into the members table and chit-chat with us. That is when I know this guy Eddy Ng Wei Kuo. But too bad after that I.U.Day, the form 5 members has been deactivated from the club as SPM was around the corner. When I came back to HSK as a six-er, I joined back the Interact Club and in the same time I joined as a librarian as well. To become an official librarian of HSK, several training, assignments, and project need to be done by the trainee and they were all divided into different groups. I don’t know whether this is the arrangement by the seniors themselves or the God above, I’ve somehow assigned to the group which is under Eddy’s observation-Group 1. In an unknown situation I’ve became the leader of the group which Eddy was the leader also in this group in the previous batch. The mission for us was to make a grand opening ceremony for the coming Month of Library. I stay back with the group after school all the time meanwhile Eddy will always pay a visit to us and giving advice, share some experience regarding what we’re about to face, and of course cheer us up with his entertaining jokes, The Story of MuaChi. I can say I’m the one who stays most of the time as I have no tuition to attend and he always come into the place I’m doing preparation for the ceremony for his revision with 1 or 2 of his friends together. I get to have the time to ask some personal advice from him when most of my subordinates wasn’t around regarding leadership & management skills. Our conversation wouldn’t be like those juniors who afraid of their seniors asking questions politely, both of us can talk spontaneously and most of the time our topic will out from the ceremony project and talk about gossips and girls more, hoho~. After the ceremony and the Month of Library over, it’s time to bring up the new board of committee of the librarians. From other senior’s mouth I get to know that he pushed me a lot in front of the seniors trying to secure me a position. I thank him deeply for this and truly appreciate his effort and in the end, I get the position I want in the committee. Even after the seniors resigned, if I met him in the library while he’s doing his revision, I’d still go to disturb him without giving a damn and gossip around. He’s 1 of a kind person who can mess around with and his style of management and enthusiasm has somehow influenced me a lot which is funky and did not follow the rules much, haha. Too bad his study gens did not influence me a bit. It goes same in the Interact club as he did try to push me to the president post but too much obstacles he have to face with Joan for that, end up I just get the I.U.Director post. Fine for me and still thanks for all that. Too bad in the year I’m as the chairman of the IUday, he absent but still in the next year, we went to IUday together again in the year after mine who in charge. Even after he finished his STPM, he would still back to school visiting us and gather up all those active members in Group 1 last time and go for karaoke. Until now even he’s studying far at UTM, we still keep in contact via MSN, SMS, Blogger, etc and by time to time, I’d still ask some advice from him whenever I found something hard to solve. For me, he is the most GY senior I’ve ever met and influenced me the most. That is Eddy & me.
How nostalgic... LOL
